Objective
Module 6 describes the individual roles of the protagonists involved in digitally-aided planning, the contract award process, and the construction and usage of buildings, enabling the participants to set their own responsibilities in the context of a specific project.
Content
The implementation of digitally-aided processes requires rethinking in relation to the roles and responsibilities involved in the value-creation chain in the building industry. The current position and the expected activities need to be given special attention. The variety of new role models arising, such as BIM coordination, is explained in this module using each of the activities and responsibilities involved, viewed in relation to theoretical and actual projects. In addition, current issues involving remuneration and legal liability are discussed.
