Abstract

Construction History II is a systematic overview of the history of construction in timber, masonry, iron, and concrete, including structural analysis of these construction types.

Objective

The participants are enabled to embark on research in Construction History on their own.

Content

Construction history II covers the following topics: 1) Timber construction 1100-1920 2) Masonry construction from antiquity to WWI 3) iron construction 1770-1920 4) Concrete construction 1770-1920
