Abstract

The course teaches methods, tools and processes of design, which are applied from the initial discussion of the place to the communication of the project. In a progression of lectures and exercises, topics concerning the design process of landscape architecture are discussed and applied. The exercises are graded and count as proof of completion.

Objective

The course is intended to enable students to expand their individual design-based methods, thereby inspiring them to process, map and communicate their design tasks. A basic framework is presented, which reveals the possibilities of methodical design and can be applied in the design courses and the master thesis.

Die Leistungskontrolle wird anhand von 3 Übungen während des Semesters erbracht (ca. 40 Arbeitsstunden). Alle Übungen müssen selbstständig bearbeitet und fristgerecht abgegeben werden (analog und digital). Die Gesamtnote setzt sich aus dem Durchschnitt der beurteilten Übungen zusammen.
