Abstract

This course is an introduction to algebraic topology; basics of point-set topology will be provided as necessary.

Content

Basics of point-set topology: topological spaces, continuous maps, constructions on topological spaces, compactness, connectedness. Algebraic topology: homotopy, fundamental group, covering spaces.
