Mathematics as a tool to solve engineering problems,mathematical formulation of problems in science and engineering.Basic mathematical knowledge of an engineer

Caculus for functions of several variables:gradient,directional derivative,chain rule,Taylor expansion.Multiple integrals: transformation of coordinates,path integrals,integrals over surfaces,divegence theorem,applications in phisics.Examples of partial differential equations: vibrating membrane,stationary temperature,diffusion problems,one dimensional waves
