Objective

Understanding of co-dependence between the development of environment / forest and the satisfying of human usage needs. Insight into the origin and development history of today's forest resources and forest structures.

Content

Natural and man-made changes to forest structure and areas. Connections between forest usage and cultural de-velopment. Chronological review of forest outlook and techniques. Development history of modern forest resources (history of exploitation, ownership etc.). History of forest law, education and research. Introduction to methodology.
