Introduction of basic methods for data collection for field inventories (landscape, vegetation, flora, fauna, red list species) and for ecological assessments. Management of conflicts of interest.

Content

Presentation and practice of different methods to assess nature and landscape objects, vegetation, various animal groups; ecological assessments (importance of landscapes, habitats and species on international, national, cantonal and local scale); conservation of valuable nature and landscape objects; management and maintenance plans (case studies); methods for the reconstruction of short-term landscape change.
