Abstract

An organic-synthetic sub-project of the medicinal chemistry research program of the Diederich Group is carried out under the guidance of doctoral students.

Objective

Learn to plan and carry out challenging multistep syntheses making use of modern methods; develop an organic-synthetic research project; reach a deeper understanding of organic reactions through experimental work; take accurate notes, write a publication style report, and present the obtained results in a seminar.
