Discussion of principles and applications of selected biomacromolecules and polymolecular assemblies: nucleic acids as information carriers and catalysts; RNA world hypothesis; in vitro evolution; comparison of nucleic acids and proteins; micellar assemblies; vesicular aggregates; cubic surfactant phases; biomembrane models.
