Objective

Students know the way nature, technology/energy and society interrelate in causing environmental problems. They are capable to roughly assess new developments in this area in relation to sustainability.

Content

The course deals with two main areas wherein environmental problem occur: Water and nutrition and climate, energy and industrialized society. The environmental problems of both areas are presented from the three different angles nature, energy/technology and society. Every lecturer stands for one angle.
