Netzwerke und Schaltungen II

VVZ CR 3.8

Last Updated: 2026-02-05 14:57:28

Objective

Introduction of basic methods for the analysis of linear and nonlinear networks with emphasis on dynamic networks. In parallel to the presentation of the theoretical background the application of the network theory in electronic circuits will be treated.

Content

Resistive nonlinear networks and circuits: Large-signal properties of transistor amplifiers, the concept of biasing, differential and operational amplifiers, logic gates. Small-signal approximation of nonlinear networks: linear amplifiers, two-port theory and matrix representation of two-ports. Linear dynamic networks and circuits: Properties of capacitors and inductors as circuit elements, mathematical methods for time and frequency domain analysis, general properties of linear dynamic networks, feedback and stability of networks and circuits. Nonlinear dynamic networks and circuits: Analysis of nonlinear and piecewise linear dynamic networks of 1. and 2.order. State-variable techniques. Mono-, bi- and astable circuits. Exercises with solutions
