Leichtbau I
Last Updated: 2026-02-05 14:57:29
Abstract
Topic of the course Lightweight Structures I is the engineering of weight-optimised structures. Students will receive an introduction in the field of analytical and numerical methods, necessary to assess structures' service and failure behaviour. This course will focus on beam members and shear field constructions.
Objective
Topic of the course Lightweight Structures I is the engineering of weight-optimised structures. Students will receive an introduction in the field of analytical and numerical methods, necessary to assess structures' service and failure behaviour for applications in mechanical, automotive and aerospace engineering. This course will focus on beam members and shear field constructions.
