Introduction to patent law, esp. patentability, novelty and inventive step according to the European Patent Convention How to evaluate the patentability of an invention Introduction to the patent application and granting processes Introduction to patent searching How to read and interpret the various parts of a patent Introduction to the content and use of license agreements Students will review the main topics of this lecture in more detail through practical exercises during the lecture session.
