Abstract

This course is intended to demonstrate how environmental decisions can be optimized and conflicts better dealt with using new forms of participation.

Vermittlung eines vertieften Verständnisses von Theorie und Praxis innovativer Verhandlungsverfahren zur Schlichtung von Umweltkonflikten.

Content

- Learning basis in conflict theory Develop comprehension of social responses to environmental conflicts - Recognize the most important participative techniques and their ranges - Develop concepts for doing and evaluating participation techniques - Train communicative skills (presentation, moderation, discussion design, negotiation) - Leraning from case studies
