Objective
This course teaches basic principles of "Molecular Neuropharmacology" to increase the understanding of pharmacological effects and pharmacological drug development for neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases.

How drugs act: general principles & molecular aspects - methods and measurements in neuropharmacology - pharmacokinetics - cholinergic transmission - noradrenergic transmission - amino acid transmitters - neuromodulators - dopamine and CNS - serotonin and CNS - neurodegenerative disorders.
