Abstract

The course gives an introduction into fundamental techniques and algorithms ofnumerical mathematics which play a central role in numerical simulations inscience and technology. The course covers the theory as well as practical exampleswhich are done in MATLAB.

Objective

* Knowledge of the fundamental algorithms in numerical mathematics * Knowledge of the essential terms in numerical mathematics and the techniques used for the aqnalysis numerical algorithms * Ability to interpret numerical results * Ability to implement efficiently numerical algorithms
