Abstract

Basics of the general system theory, system analysis, system design and system dynamics. Introduction to systemic problem-solving with a methodological focus on cost effectiveness analysis, cost/benefit analysis and value analysis. The company as a dynamic system and its interaction with the environment, the micro economic value circle, financial accounting and financing.

Objective

Systems Engineering • Understanding the characteristics and behavior of natural and man made systems • Definition, analysis and solution of complex problems based on systemic thinking • Methodological skills for a comprehensive evaluation of alternate problem solutions. Business Administration • Understanding the enterprise as a system and its interaction with the environment • Basic knowledge in financial accounting and analysis • Common models of financing.
