Characteristics and use of tropical wood. Ecological issues of tropical forest utilisation.

- Introduction into the problems of tropical forest utilisation from the viewpoint of the exporting countries and Swit-zerland. - Statistical data on the import of wood of tropical broad-leaved trees to Switzerland. - Codes and rules of tropical wood trading. - Microscopic and macroscopic wood identification.
