Abstract

Anthropologists are experts of the exotic. In the mid 1980s, however, they began to conduct fieldwork in laboratories, pharmacompanies, and other citadels of modernity. What made them turn to a milieu so foreign to their traditional concerns? In this seminar we will seek to answer this question and learn about the fascinating insights of the still nascent field of the anthropological of science.
