Chronic diseases require an intervention paradigm that focuses on prevention and lifestyle change. Against this background, the question arises of how digital health interventions (DHIs) can allow medical doctors and other caregivers to scale and tailor longāterm treatments to individuals in need at sustainable costs.
The course introduces the concept of digital biomarkers. More specifically, the course will cover fundamental topics such as designing observational studies, collecting and exploring data generated by consumer-centric devices, and applying analytical methods to predict health-related outcomes.
Today, we face the challenge of chronic conditions. Personal coaching approaches are neither scalable nor financially sustainable. The question arises therefore to which degree Digital Health Interventions (DHIs) are appropriate to address this challenge. In this CAS module, students will design, implement and evaluate a DHI, esp. a just-in-time adaptive intervention.
Today, we face the challenge of non-communicable diseases. Personal coaching approaches are neither scalable nor financially sustainable. The question arises therefore to which degree digital health interventions are appropriate to address this challenge. In this lecture, students will learn about the assessment of digital health interventions.
Today, we face the challenge of chronic conditions. Personal coaching approaches are neither scalable nor financially sustainable. The question arises therefore to which degree Digital Health Interventions (DHIs) are appropriate to address this challenge. In this lecture, students will learn about the need for, as well as the design, implementation and assessment of DHIs.
