The assignment reimagines the vacant former Kinderspital Zürich (KISPI), a complex of ten diverse buildings in Hottingen. Responding to uncertain demolition and the housing crisis, students propose housing and public uses. Each group develops one building as an autonomous protagonist within a collective, experimental vision beyond a conventional masterplan.

Unmasking Space, is a student-led elective course which aims to critically reflect on the current knowledge production in architecture education, while bringing attention to learning forms, voices, and methods that are currently under-acknowledged in the institution. Through multidirectional knowledge exchange and immersive activities, the course experiments with diverse forms of learning.
