The course is organised based on the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) publication Indicia 03. Indicia 03 conveys the main research results as actions and guidelines for sustainable city-making. The course offers twelve thematic colloquiums. It aims to introduce research outcomes of FCL and provide a platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and critical thinking crossing domains.

The summer school is based on the work of the Dense and Green Cities: Emerging Models of Integrated Urban Development module of the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) Global research programme in Singapore and Zurich. It introduces interdisciplinary approaches to urban development and translates research outcomes into collaborative urban planning and design strategies.
