Imparts a basic understanding of physiology and anatomy in man and domestic animals, focusing on the interrelations between morphology and function of the organism, in particular of domestic animals. This is fostered by discussing all subjects from a functional point of view. The lecture consists of two consecutive parts.

Species-specific behaviour and common housing system of several farm animal species and the food products of animal origin will be introduced.
