Path Integrals in Quantum Physics
Pfadintegrale in der Quantenphysik
Last Updated: 2026-02-05 15:24:12
Abstract
These lectures aim at giving graduate students an introduction to and a working knowledge of path integral methods in a wide variety of fields in physics. Consequently, the lectures are organized in three main parts dealing with non-relativistic quantum mechanics, many-body physics and field theory. Numerous examples and applications are given.
Objective
Basic knowledge about path integrals and their connection with canonical quantization methods. Methods for evaluation: analytic, semi-classical, numerical. Some applications in various fields of quantum physics.
