This course provides expert knowledge on thermal interactions between the human body and its environment. It covers thermoregulation, heat and mass transfer in sports clothing and indoor/outdoor settings, and evaluates their impact on health and performance. Numerical and physical models of the human body will be used to assess thermal comfort and heat stress.
