In the elective "Material-Lab" the students are given the possibility to get to know materials in a theoretical and practical way. Also they investigate the potential of the contemporary architecture by means of a material specific survey.The focus is laid on constructive questions and on the investigation of the influence on architectonic form and expression.

This elective course is not taking place in HS21.The elective is organised as a laboratory where one particular material will be explored on a theoretical and practical level. During this study the contemporary architectural potential of the material will be tested and applied.
