Energy Efficiency in Cross Cutting Technologies in Industry and Tertiary Sector
Energieeffizienz bei Querschnittstechnologien in Industrie und Dienstleistungssektoren
Analysis of cross cutting technologies under technological, economical and ecological aspects. Besides industrial furnaces and combined heat and power, motor driven systems (pump-, compressed air-, fan-, refrigeration-systems) are analysed. Heat integration by pinch analysis is introduced. Optimization potentials are highlighted and difficulties during industrial implementation are discussed.
