Abstract
The course provides an overview of theories of judgement and intuition as distinct from procedures of inference and measurement common to most empirical sciences or applications of artificial intelligence. Judgment and intuition are especially important in the realm of the political and aesthetic as distinct from disciplines such as physics and biology.

Knowledge of different types of inference as well basic theories of judgement and intuition.
Content
Current Debates on Artificial Intelligence (AI) are often framed in ways that aim at identifying differences between artificial and human intelligence. Common candidates for such features are judgement and intuition. The course provides an overview of philosophical theories of judgement and intuition as distinct from procedures of inference and measurement common to most empirical sciences and applications of AI. Judgment and intuition are especially important in the realm of the political and aesthetic as distinct from disciplines such as physics and biology.
