This online course provides an introduction to climate responsive design using the Hive tool and its application in early building design stages. Hive allows architecture and building science students to understand the relationship between architectural design, climate, comfort, and energy. Hive is a plugin for the 3D modelling environment Rhino and its visual programming interface Grasshopper.
