Abstract

Environmental decisions are based on data, models and communication. They involve complex processes of natural and artificial systems. The course in Decision Engineering will provide concepts and skills to students to identify data needs, to build simulation models and to design dialogues in an environmental context.

Objective

This course introduces an engineering way of thinking with regard to data management, modeling and communication design. It focuses on environmental decision research, development and management.
