Furthermore, an introduction to the major theories and methods that are used in behavioural neuroscience to study the basic processes of learning and cognition in animals, and finally, the development of valid animal models of human pathologies.
This practical course will take place during 2 weeks in February in which the students will become familiar with different behavioural methods to evaluate animal models of psychopathology. The course will also involve behavioural and statistical analysis of the results.
