Abstract
Introduction to the principles of the EU and of the International Organisations with regard to food safety; for the practical application: Understanding, Set up and Application of CU-Food Law in this framework.
Objective
Knowledge of the principles and the structure of the EU in general and in the area of food safety including international organisations, overview of the relevant bilateral agreements CH-EU. Basic knowledge of the structure of Swiss food law and its implementation in the self-controll as a food company. Food related affairs can be evaluated from a legal perspective.
Content
General introduction into the EU and the General EU Regulation on food Law, legislative procedures in the EU, introduction into the relevant bilateral agreements CH-EU considering international obligations. Structure and application of food law in Switzerland.
