This module provides basic knowledge for a critical study of literature closely related to clinical decision making and the basics of clinical research methodology.

Digital Health Technology (DHT) enables new study designs, including better evidence generation for value-based health care. This module focuses on the preparation of a study synopsis incorporating a digital technology and/or modern study concept.

The course will discuss how to design a clinical study and addresses topics such as the quantification of medical need, the reduction of unnecessary complexity, and the identification of clinical outcome measures.
