Objective

The goal of the course is to learn about compact Riemann Surfaces, with main reference chapter 2 of Forster's book 'Lectures on Riemann Surfaces'. Time permitting and depending on the interest of the participants we will also cover more advanced results about Riemann Surfaces from Arbarello-Cornalba-Griffiths-Harris book 'Geometry of Algebraic curves' Vol.1.
