Methods II: Quantitative Methods

Abstract
This class provides an introduction to statistical methods for social science and policy analysis. The class covers causal inference, measurement, prediction with a focus on linear and logistic regression, probability, and uncertainty. Each topic is accompanied by exercises in the R programming language.
Objective
After this course, students should be able to assemble a dataset, prepare descriptive statistics, develop and test hypotheses, and present their results in a high-quality presentation or paper.
